We have stated elsewhere that we fully respect the artists and copyright, however there is often a desire for non-mainstream or bespoke product, in addition to what is available through the normal distribution channels.
This service is supplied on a one off requested basis and created on on a cost based model, or if individuals request our version for personal use. Any fees charged, if at all, are not based on any ownership of the material. We hold no rights over the use of the material. Files are to be supplied by the parties requesting the service as proof of ownership. It is not available for commercial resale, unless the rights holders of the material allow this to happen or indeed support the work as a commercial alternative to existing releases.
Any work deemed to be infringing any issues will be removed immediately.
Our aim is to work with and support artists in providing alternative arrangements to existing published material. We want to provide an audiophile alternative, for parties that require that alternative..
Reel Tape Remaster (Example)
One of the first projects we worked on was a Quad Reel recording of "Snowflakes Are Dancing" by Isao Tomita. This was from an ultra rare copy of a commercially released tape. It was a restorative remaster for the owner of the tape.

Quadraphonic 8 Track Cartridge (Q8) Remaster
Quite an achievement and 13 years ago. We were passed a copy of the 8 track cartridge, transferred to digital on a modified Reel to Reel machine. We worked on this for weeks. This was for friends of the Pink Floyd fan club.
In glorious four channel surround sound. (Quad) Unofficial release and not for resale. This is a unique version of this epochal album.
Reel Tape Remaster
Purchased with a box of second hand tapes on eBay - this was the master tape for this vinyl, 1980's sampler. Transferred to digital at 24/192, only a few friends have heard this outstanding example of UK regional rock in the early 80's.
SpEAR
Spectrally Enhanced Audio Restoration. This process can take a Redbook (specification for CD) standard audio CD and bring it to a near Hi-Resolution standard. It involves Upscaling and Upsampling to rebuild the out-of-band harmonics and waveforms missing with brick-wall filtering and defeats the forensics of Lossless Audio Checker. Gives a massive upgrade to sound, presence and reality.
dLeAR/WoRM
de-Limited Enhanced Audio Restoration/Wormwood optimised Remastering. These are similar types of processes and share a common development path. The latter process is most frequently used to restore dynamic range and balance in new releases that suffer over zealous application of compression and limiting.
The former process is usually applied to older content and can involve trying to recreate the original tonal balance, or perhaps trying to improve upon it.
